Description:
The IS200BICLH1A is an IGBT driver/source bridge interface board (BICL) built by GE for the Innovation Series. It is a part of Drive Control series. An interface board is a circuit board that is used to interface between an insulated-gate bipolar transistor driver and an power module.
The driver provides the necessary control signals to turn the IGBT on and off, while the power module provides the high-current switching capability.
The purpose of the IS200BICLH1A is to act as a middleman between the Innovative Series drivers and the Bridge Personalization Interface Board (BPIA, BPIB or SCNV), as the main interface between them.
The board is able to monitor the ambient temperature and the bridge temperature. It has an interface with PWM speed control and system fault display. The board has a 1024-bit serial memory, usually equipped with information about the version and identification of the board.
