In a low voltage Innovation Series drive, these boards serve as an interface between the devices in charge of switching power (IGBTs) and the control rack. The IS200DAMCG1A is a printed circuit board or PCB. This board is what is known as the Innovation Series 200DAM Gate Drive Amplifier and Interface Board. These boards serve as an interface between the devices responsible for switching power supplies (IGBTs) and the control rack in the low voltage Innovation Series drives. These devices have LEDs or light-emitting diodes which tell an operator if the IGBT is on. The DAMC is one of the variations of the DAM gate drive boards. The DAMC boards have a power rating of 250 frames. DAMC boards, as well as DAMB and DAMA boards, are responsible for amplifying current in order to provide the final stage of gate drive for a phase leg of the power bridge.

These devices have LEDs or light emitting diodes that tell the operator if the IGBT is on or not. The DAMC is one of the variants of the DAM gate drive board. The DAMC board is rated for 250 fps. The DAMC board along with the DAMB and DAMA boards are responsible for amplifying the current to provide the final stage of the gate drive for the phase arms of the power bridge. These boards have a +15/-7.5 power supply input. The DAMC board is directly connected to the IGBT gate as well as the collector and emitter terminals. The DAMC board is also connected to the IS200BPIA Bridge Personalization Interface or BPIA board of the control rack. Four (4) different LEDs or light emitting diodes are located on the IS200DAMCG1A. Two (2) of these, named DS1 and DS2, are yellow. The other two (2), DS3 and DS4, are green. The IS200DAMCG1A is a small rectangular circuit board. DS4 and DS2 have been placed on the bottom of the left half of the PCB. These are also marked with the initials LFF and LON respectively. Near the top of the right half of the IS200DAMCG1A are the DS1 and DS3 LEDs marked with the initials UON and UFF.
